LOCAL INSIGHT

Augusta's Army cyber base and Masters week bring two kinds of searchers

Fort Eisenhower, formerly Fort Gordon, sits southwest of Augusta and is home to the Army Signal Corps, Army Cyber Command and the Cyber Center of Excellence. In July 2018 the state opened the $100 million Georgia Cyber Center beside the Riverwalk, two buildings with 332,000 square feet that house Augusta University's School of Computer and Cyber Sciences. Contractors, trainers and technology firms in this niche need sites that explain technical work in plain terms.

Health care and industry add to the mix. Augusta's Medical District includes Augusta University, its Cancer Center, Children's Hospital of Georgia, the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center and University Hospital. The state lists Aurubis copper recycling, a Syensqo EV materials plant that broke ground in April 2024, and a StandardAero expansion at Augusta Regional Airport. The Masters has been played here each spring since 1934. Patients and visitors alike look for nearby places, so correct map listings matter.

Rankwyre builds websites for Augusta companies that sell to the base and the cyber campus, and sets up Google Maps and local listings for Broad Street shops and practices near the Medical District.

HOW WE WORK

How we work with Augusta businesses.

Here is what happens from the moment an Augusta business decides to get in touch.

  1. Talk before anything else.

A short call, no jargon, about the business and what the site should do. After it you get a price in writing.

  2. Watch the pages arrive.

Previews arrive while there's time to change course, and we adjust after each one.

  3. Make search work for you.

We create your Google Business Profile and listings, and add pages for each area you serve. We can also write one around a phrase you choose.

  4. Online within a week.

Hosting and updates are part of the plan after launch, and we're reachable when you need a change.
