How much does hosting cost?
Hosting, SSL and maintenance are included in every Rankwyre website, ecommerce and SEO plan at no extra cost, from $399 a month for a Build website plan to $1,299 a month for a Pro Store. There is no separate hosting bill to manage on your own, and no surprise renewal invoice from a separate hosting company.
Do I need to buy hosting separately from my website plan?
No. Hosting, SSL, and maintenance are built into every Rankwyre plan, so nothing needs to be bought or renewed separately. If you already own a domain, we connect it. If you need one, we help you get it and manage it from there, including renewals, so it never quietly expires on you.
How do you make sure our site stays online and fast?
Every site is hosted on infrastructure suited to its traffic, connected to a global CDN, and monitored around the clock with a 99.9% uptime guarantee. Backups run on a schedule, and if something does go wrong, we restore from a recent backup instead of rebuilding from scratch, often before you even notice anything happened.
Do you manage our domain and DNS settings?
Yes. We set up, renew and manage your domain and DNS records as part of every plan, including email, subdomain and redirect records. Any domain you purchased yourself always stays yours, even if you later move it or cancel your plan, since a domain you own is never tied to your hosting.
What happens to my domain if I cancel my plan?
Any domain you purchased yourself is always yours, whether or not you stay on a Rankwyre plan. If you cancel without buying out your website, the site comes down, but your domain remains registered to you, and Rankwyre helps you move it and its DNS records wherever you want them to go next.
Can we not just use AI to do this ourselves?
