LOCAL INSIGHT

Provo businesses sell to a campus city and a large tech workforce

Provo had 113,343 residents in July 2023, a drop of 346 from the year before, in the Census figures Utah published. The city is flat, but the campus is big. BYU lists 37,874 daytime students for fall 2026 on a 738 acre campus in Provo, and its students speak 121 languages. Nearby Utah Valley University reported a record 48,670 students for fall 2025. A food spot, gym or repair shop near these schools is found by students searching on a small screen, so accurate hours and map listings matter.

Tech is the other pull. Utah's Department of Workforce Services reports that tech made up 7.9% of employment in the Provo-Orem area in 2023, compared with 4.9% in Salt Lake, and that the area holds 33% of the state's tech jobs. It also shows tech employment in Provo-Orem down 12.9% from January 2022 to the end of 2023. A firm that sells to tech companies needs pages that explain plainly what it does and who it serves.

We build web apps and CRMs for Provo service companies that outgrow spreadsheets, and pair them with SEO so the business shows up for the searches students and tech employers actually run.

HOW WE WORK

How we work with Provo businesses.

A Utah County project follows four stages. You get the price first, and you decide at each step.

  1. Quick call to frame it.

We cover what you do, which pages you need and what you'd like to spend, then put the price in writing.

  2. Your site in drafts.

Previews arrive while we build. Send us notes, we revise, and the design settles into something you approve.

  3. Local findability.

We set up Google Business Profile, local listings and service-area pages to support the searches nearby customers make.

  4. Launch and long-term care.

The site goes live, and hosting and updates are part of the monthly plan. Support remains available afterward.
