LOCAL INSIGHT

Arizona added 97,044 residents in a year

Arizona had 706,640 small businesses in 2022, employing about 1.2 million people or 42.6 percent of the workforce, according to the U.S. Small Business Administration. Professional, scientific and technical services is the biggest group at 100,978 firms. The profile counts 152,872 businesses owned by Hispanic residents, and 596,285 urban businesses against 44,313 rural ones. That can mean customers who search in Spanish as well as English, so pages and listings should cover both.

Arizona's state estimates show it added 97,044 residents between July 2024 and July 2025, a 1.2 percent rise. Pinal County grew fastest at 3.7 percent, ahead of Yuma County at 1.9 percent. The Bureau of Labor Statistics lists six metro areas: Phoenix, Tucson, Flagstaff, Prescott, Yuma and Lake Havasu City-Kingman. Trade, transportation and utilities is the largest job sector at 629,000 of 3.28 million jobs in August 2026 (preliminary). Counties grow at very different rates, so a business should be found by the area it serves.

Rankwyre builds websites and runs SEO for Arizona businesses from the Phoenix area to Tucson and Flagstaff, and the pricing matches every other state.

HOW WE WORK

How we work with Arizona businesses.

Arizona businesses go from first contact to launch in four moves, and the price is agreed before any of them begin.

  1. Short call, firm price.

You describe the business and what you want from a site. We put a price in writing before starting.

  2. Review each draft.

The site comes together in drafts. A preview reaches you along the way, and your notes feed into the next version.

  3. Show up when people search.

We build your Google Business Profile, local listings and service-area pages so you appear in nearby searches.

  4. Launch, then keep it running.

About 7 days to launch, with hosting and updates included and support available afterwards.
