LOCAL INSIGHT

Nevada's market is Clark and Washoe, plus 38 million visits

Nevada's two largest counties hold 88.0 percent of its jobs, according to the BLS. Clark County has 1,145,500 workers and Washoe has 241,700, out of 1,575,700 statewide in March 2026, up 2.0 percent from a year earlier. The remaining 12 percent of jobs is spread across the rest of the state, so an owner outside the Las Vegas and Reno areas serves a much smaller local pool.

The LVCVA counted 38.5 million visitors to Las Vegas in 2025, 6.0 million convention attendees and 80.3 percent average hotel occupancy. Visitors on that scale search for restaurants, shops and services before they arrive, and many of them have never been to the city. The SBA Office of Advocacy counts 333,471 small businesses, 99.3 percent of firms. Professional, scientific and technical services leads at 47,481, and transportation and warehousing follows at 43,977, almost all of them with no employees.

Rankwyre builds websites and runs Google and Meta ads for Nevada businesses that need to reach both residents and travelers, and handles SEO for owners who want to be listed ahead of the many competitors in Clark County. Everything is done remotely.
