CASE STUDY
Custom Web App Design
Ganache's clients reviewed work over email, chat and file links, and approvals stalled while versions got lost between them. The studio now runs the whole review in one app built to match its own brand, from brief to final approval.
- Brief, preview and approve in one app
- Real time status on every project
- CMS the team runs without code

THE CHALLENGE
Where it started
Ganache is a motion design studio that needed more than a portfolio, a lightweight web app where clients could brief a project, preview renders and approve a version without ever leaving a single page. Feedback was scattered across email, chat and file sharing links, versions got mixed up between all three, and approvals stalled while everyone waited to confirm which file was actually current.
A generic project management tool would have solved the mechanics but broken the brand experience entirely. The studio needed a review process that felt as considered as its creative work, not a bolted on tool that looked like it came from somewhere else.
WHAT THEY NEEDED
A creative studio needs a review tool that feels like its own brand.
Briefing, previewing and approving a project needs to happen inside one focused space instead of split across email threads, chat messages and separate file links that constantly go out of sync.
A studio known for polished creative work cannot hand clients a review process that looks like an off the shelf project management tool simply bolted onto the brand afterward with no real thought given to it.
The studio needs to update content, swap images and publish new pages themselves, without ever waiting on a developer or risking the design each time something small changes on a page.
STRATEGY & EXECUTION
Here is what we built for Ganache.
Client Review App
A focused, distraction free web app where clients brief a project, preview renders directly in the browser and approve a version in a single click, with status visible the whole way through instead of buried somewhere inside an old email thread nobody can find again later when it actually matters most to the project and the deadline.
Real Time Status
Every project shows its current status directly inside the app itself, so a client or a member of the studio can see exactly where a review stands without ever having to ask anyone to check for them or dig through old messages to find the answer they need right away, project after project, client after client.
In Browser Previews
Renders preview directly in the browser instead of requiring a separate download or a dedicated player, so a client can review a version the moment it is ready without any extra steps standing in the way of a quick decision that day, right when it matters most to the timeline and the deadline ahead of everyone involved.
On Brand Interface
The interface carries the studio's own visual language instead of a generic tool's default look, so the review process feels like a natural extension of Ganache rather than a bolted on utility from somewhere else entirely, built for someone else's brand and someone else's workflow entirely, not Ganache's own creative process or visual identity at any point.
CMS For The Team
A tidy content system lets the studio update content, swap images and publish new pages themselves, without ever touching code or risking the careful design sitting underneath the whole site as it grows month over month with new work and new clients coming through the door regularly and reliably, month after month and year after year.
One Click Approval
Approving a version takes a single click inside the same app already used to brief and preview it, closing the loop without a client needing to reply to a separate email just to confirm the decision is final and move the project along to the next stage of work entirely on its own schedule and timeline.

Responsive on Every Screen
Built for Speed
Designed to Convert
Search-Ready From Day One
Easy to Manage
The site adapts cleanly from desktop to tablet to phone, staying readable and deliberate on whatever device your visitors reach for.
Optimised images, lean code, and careful loading keep the experience fast and Core Web Vitals in the green, so nothing bounces.
Clear hierarchy and well-placed calls to action guide visitors toward the next step, turning casual browsing into real enquiries.
A technically sound foundation with clean structure and metadata helps the site get found and rank for the terms that matter.
A tidy CMS lets the team update content, swap images, and publish new pages without touching code or breaking the design.
THE RESULT
Reviews now run in one focused app instead of scattered threads.
One App For The Review
Briefing, previewing and approving a project all happen inside the same focused space now, instead of being spread across email, chat and separate file links that used to fall out of sync.
Status Visible To Everyone
Every project shows exactly where it stands in the review, so nobody has to ask which version is current or whether a client has actually approved it yet before moving on.
An Experience That Matches Work
The review app carries Ganache's own visual language throughout, so clients experience the same level of polish in the process that they already see in the finished creative work itself.
A CMS The Studio Runs
The team updates content, swaps images and publishes new pages without ever touching code, so the site keeps moving forward without a developer sitting in the loop for routine changes.

FAQ'S
Questions about the Ganache project.
How long does it take to build a custom web app for client reviews?
Web apps are scoped and quoted in writing, with a dated timeline before work starts. A client review app like Ganache's covers the briefing, preview and approval flow built into one interface, the real time status view and the CMS the team uses to keep content updated well after launch, with no downtime in between the build and going live.
Can a custom web app replace scattered email and chat for client feedback?
Yes. Ganache's app moved briefing, previewing and approving into one focused space, so feedback and version approvals no longer get split across email threads, chat messages and separate file links that fall out of sync with each other during a busy project with multiple people weighing in at once on the same deadline.
Can the studio update the web app themselves after launch?
Yes. A CMS built directly into Ganache's app lets the team update content, swap images and publish new pages without touching code, so the app keeps working for the studio without ongoing developer involvement for routine day to day changes to the site or its content week to week or month to month.
