Brandon Gamagami
A personal site built to be the one place search engines and journalists can verify who someone actually is.
Brandon Gamagami is an entrepreneur and co-founder of Rankwyre. His name was scattered across social profiles and third party mentions with no single source that tied them together, which is a problem when people search for you and find fragments.
The goal was an entity home: one authoritative site that states the facts plainly and links out to everything else that confirms them.
Design Approach
Big editorial type, full-bleed photography, and a story told in chapters rather than a wall of biography. The design gets out of the way of the narrative and keeps the eye moving from the hero straight into the story.
The Experience
The site opens on who he is in one sentence, then walks through the background in sections a reader can dip into. Structured data describes the person and the company underneath, and the profile links are wired up so the connections are machine readable, not just visible.
Outcome
There is now one canonical page for the name, with clean structured data, absolute canonicals, a sitemap, and no third party trackers carried over from the original template. Every off-site profile points back to it.
