LOCAL INSIGHT

Greenville is a small city inside a large manufacturing region

Greenville has 72,935 residents in the Census ACS for 2020 to 2024, with a median age of 34.7 and 55.5 percent of adults holding a bachelor's degree, yet the Upstate SC Alliance describes ten counties working as one region around it. The alliance says the Upstate's net migration is 52 people a day, and Visit Greenville places the city about halfway between Charlotte and Atlanta. Newcomers do not know local names yet, so they rely on search results and listings.

BMW Manufacturing, Michelin, Clemson University, Greenville County Schools and Prisma Health each employ more than 5,000 people in the Upstate, per the alliance's list compiled in February 2026. GE Vernova announced a $160 million investment and 650 new jobs at its Greenville facility in January 2025, and South Carolina led the country in passenger vehicle exports at $9.8 billion in 2025. Suppliers to these plants win business by being easy to find and easy to qualify, which starts with a clear website.

Rankwyre builds websites, web apps and CRMs and runs SEO and ads. A Greenville supplier chasing work across Greenville, Spartanburg and Anderson can use a web app or CRM to track bids, and a restaurant or shop can fix its Google Maps and local listings so newcomers land at the right address.

HOW WE WORK

How we work with Greenville businesses.

Four stages take a Greenville County business from first call to a live site, with the price settled before work begins.

  1. Price first, build second.

We start with a short call about what you need. The quote arrives in writing, and you decide whether to go ahead.

  2. Walk through the drafts.

Pages show up in preview while we build. You react to real screens and we refine them until you sign off.

  3. Local listings and map presence.

We set up your Google Business Profile, local listings and service-area pages so the business can be found by people nearby.

  4. Out the door and supported.

The launch takes about 7 days. Hosting, updates and ongoing support stay inside the plan.

Questions from Greenville businesses

What is growing in Greenville County?

Arts, fitness and recreation grew fastest, up 8.2% from 232 to 251 locations. Professional services added 79 and construction and trades added 55. Retail stores gained 50. Finance and insurance was the one big sector that fell, down 12.

Do you build sites for Charleston and Columbia too?

Yes. Both cities have their own pages here. Whichever city you're in, a website runs $399 a month plus $299 setup, and the first draft preview comes while the build is still underway.

I supply parts to a plant in the Upstate. Is a supplier site priced differently?

No. Prices are the same everywhere. Websites start at $399 a month plus a $299 one-time setup, with hosting, SSL and maintenance included. There is no contract, and a standard website launches in about 7 days. A quoting tool or customer system is a web app, which starts at $1,000 one time and is quoted in writing.
