LOCAL INSIGHT

Florida welcomed a record 143.3 million visitors in 2025

Florida drew 143.3 million visitors in 2025, a record, according to VISIT FLORIDA estimates announced by the governor. Domestic travelers made up 91.5 percent, 131.1 million people, and 9.3 million came from overseas. Brazil is now the second largest international source. The fourth quarter alone brought 33.5 million visitors. A hotel, restaurant or tour business there is found by visitors searching from other states and countries.

The U.S. Small Business Administration counts 3.5 million small businesses in Florida, 1,199,513 of them owned by Hispanic residents, and 3,025,133 urban against 174,444 rural. Florida's small firms made up 52,004 of the 55,073 exporters in 2023. The Bureau of Labor Statistics lists 22 metro areas, from Jacksonville and Tallahassee to Orlando, Tampa and Pensacola. Leisure and hospitality is the fourth largest job sector, 1.34 million jobs in August 2026 (preliminary). With that many separate metros, a business should be found by the place it actually serves, not by the state name.

Rankwyre builds websites and online stores for Florida businesses and runs SEO that targets each metro.

HOW WE WORK

How we work with Florida businesses.

For a Florida business, the work with us goes in four parts and starts with a clear price.

  1. Talk it over.

We start with a short call, then send a written price. Building starts after you say yes to it.

  2. Reviewing drafts together.

You see previews while the site is built in drafts, and your feedback goes straight into the next one.

  3. Be found around you.

We set up Google Business Profile, local listings and service-area pages for the places you serve.

  4. Go live, stay current.

About 7 days to launch. Hosting and updates are part of the plan, and support continues after.
